Shell’s Friday afternoon bomb shell. Nice try, Climate Wreckers, you can run but it’s too late to hide. Said an analyst in denial:

We’re a bit shellshocked this morning after this profit warning, which is highly unusual for an integrated oil company,”

Just in case you do not make it to the end of this important NYT article, I’d like to highlight a point of great importance for the fossil fuel divestment movement.

The NYT claims that Art Laffer supports a carbon tax. He is the voodoo economist supreme famous for his failed of trickle down economics, the mother of all coddle-the-rich scams –remember the Laffer curve?

Listen up, you United Climate Wreckers of the World, if Art Laffer and the Pope are aligned against you, your days are numbered!

Meanwhile, state, municipalities, and individuals are still investing in the sinking fossil fuel ship. Onward, lemmings, the next pension fund crisis is at hand!

And also the URI Foundation is still “thinking” about divestment and not returning Fossil Free RI’s telephone calls.

Update: 01/30/2014:
